Abstract
An investigation was conducted on the species and tree forms of evergreen broad-leaved forests of Daguping Forestry Station, Shangpai County, Hunan Province. The results show that there are 85 families, 240 genera and 559 species of trees in this flora; that tropical and subtropical features are their main characteristics; and that there is a strong transition characteristic. The statistics and analysis results indicate that life forms of the biome are very rich, for here there are altogether 9 floras whose biome-types, biome-features and biome-distributions are briefly described in the paper.
