Abstract
Based on the analysis of features of camshaft NC virtual grinding technology,combined database technology, computer compilation technology and image processing technology,a camshaft NC virtual grinding programming system was developed.The contour of image was obtained through chain-code tracking, aimed at features of NC machining,through error analysis the camshaft profile was automatic compensated. Several realization methods of key technologies of the system were given.The application example shows that the system supplies a helpful condition for camshaft NC virtual grinding.
