Abstract

The authors report the disease-process, symptoms and clinical diagnostic methods of pyometra in aged canine, and expound on the causes of the disease. 23 cases of this disease were treated by ovario-hysterectomy and the results were satisfactory, showing that the operative therapy is effective method for treatment of pyometra in aged canine.
