Abstract

There were many uncertainty factors in the gas pipeline risk assessment, the traditional risk assessment method affected the accuracy of risk assessment results due to its own limitations. The FAHP was introduced, the accident risk factor weight of pipeline was determinted, the problem of factor weight determination was resolved in appraisal process by utilizing its strict logic and comparative tests principle. This method showed through the example in city gas pipeline risk assessment serviceability and reliability,it may be advantage and could be applied in engineering on semi-quantitative risk assessment method for natural gas pipeline.
