Abstract

In order to obtain the soil saturated hydraulic conductivity in the source region of the Yellow River, laboratory experiments were conducted on ten undisturbed soil columns in the source region of the Yellow River using the penetration tube method. The results show that the soil saturated hydraulic conductivity in the source region of the Yellow River has significant spatial variation, there are great differences in the saturated hydraulic conductivity between soil columns, and sandy soil is more suitable for laboratory measurement of the soil saturated hydraulic conductivity than clay. The laboratory-measured values of the soil saturated hydraulic conductivity in the source region of the Yellow River in the will be stable and accurate after the accumulated outflow reaches a certain amount.
