Temperature Load Stress Analysis of Asphalt Overlay on Old Cement Pavement

Aimed at the general phenomenon in paving asphalt layer on old cement pavement,the temperature load stresse of different asphalt overlays were analysed based on the analysis of asphalt overlay on temperature field and temperature stress.The result shows that after repairing the old cement concrete pavement and taking some measures,the stress condition of asphalt overlay is developed obviously.It is suggested that the STRATA stress absorbing layer should be paved after improving the load transfer capacity in actual projects.
