Abstract
The flora Characteristics of rare and endangered plants in Wugong Mountain are investigated and analyzed in this paper. The analysis shows that there are 35 families,52 genera, and 68 species of rare and endangered plants in Wugong Mountain.Based on the analysis of the areal type of these 52 genera, sixteen genera are tropical which make up 30.77% of the total generic number of endangered plants, twenty genera are temperate which account for 38.46% of the total. The flora elements have obvious temperate to subtropical characteristics. We also find that fifteen genera are of endemic to China which make up 28.85% of the total generic number of the endangered plants. The flora elements are characterized by ancient origin and obvious endemism.
