Abstract

Due to the lack of planning guidelines for sustainable urban space,the sustainable urban development policies and objectives are difficult to be put into effect in urban spatial planning.In view of this,it is necessary to systematically study and then establish planning guidelines for sustainable urban space.By studying the establishment of urban spatial planning contents and guidelines,and analyzing the sustainable urban development goals and spatial planning strategies,this paper summarizes and refines the planning guidelines for sustainable urban space at the levels of urban region,urban /district and urban settlements.
