The parameterized design of configuration in common use based on the AutoCAD

Abstract

The AutoCAD is the most usual drawing software of mechanical designer.Its function is very powerful.But it may produce an effect on the drawing efficiency because of the lack of usual configuration.So the paper advances a solving plan to use the AutoCAD VBA to do some parameterized design of configuration in common use of mechanical drawings based on the AutoCAD.Owing to common configuration's similar development means,this paper gives an example of the keyway's front view and section drawing.It tells about how to structure the Access database,how to use ADO to develop the database and how to program to finish drawing.
