Reform on the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Curriculum System Based on Training Outstanding Engineers in Local Colleges and Universities

It is a great task for China's higher engineering education to implement the plan of training outstanding engineers.The paper introduces the reform experience and measures of the chemistry and chemical engineering curriculum system in Guilin University of Technology,which is based on the reference of successful experience of higher engineering education at home and abroad,according to the development of chemical engineering industry and its request to the setting of chemical engineering profession,combines with the current situation of chemical engineering and technology in the university,and takes engineering technology as the main line,focuses on improving students' engineering consciousness,engineering quality,and engineering practical ability,in order to provide the favorable instruction for training chemical engineering talents in local colleges and universities.
