Abstract

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of applying of biapenem.METHODS A total of 120 patients with severe infection in department of hematology of the general hospital in beijing area were randomly divided into treatment groups(biapenem group) 60 cases and the control group(meropenem group) 60 cases 0.3-0.6g biapenem was used treatment group for 2 times a day intravenously, control group of meropenem 1g intravenously 2 to 3 times a day, treatment was generally 7 to 14 days, the the efficacy and adverse reactions of infection were observed after treatment.RESULTS The treatment group and control group clinical total effective rate was 76.7% and 78.3%,after treatment, bacterial eradication rates were 90.5% and 91.7%,the incidence rate of adverse reactions was 6.7%.No significant difference between the two groups were found.CONCLUSION Biapenem is a safe and effective drug in the treatment of hematological′s moderate to severe infection.
