A Clinic Review of Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation Treated Tachycardia

Abstract

Objective To study the method and the treatment of radio frequency catheter ablation for tachycardia.Methods 449 cases with tachycardia who were treated with radiofrequency catheter ablation were reviewed.They included atrioventricular reentrant tachycardia(AVRT),atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia(AVNRT),ventricular tachycardia(VT),atrial tachycardia(AT).Results The success rate of 98.8% was obtained in 248 cases of AVRT.The success rate of 97.8% was obtained in 187 cases of AVNRT.11 cases of VT all were successfully performed.Two cases of 3 AT were successfully cured.Atrioventricular nodal medication operation was practiced in 1 patient among 3 cases of AT.Conclusion There are high success rate,less complication in cases with tachycardia treated by radiofrequency catheter ablation.It is a secure and effective treatment method for tachycardia.
