Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinic value of the variation of T lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of el- derly esophagus cancer patients. Methods Flow cytometry was used to test some immune indexes,including CD3+,CD4+, CD8+,NK,CD4+/ CD8+ in sixty esophagus cancer patients. Results The level of CD8+ and CD4+/ CD8+ in elderly patients(60y) was significantly different from that of younger patients(≤60y,P0.05). Conclusion Detecting lymphocyte antigens by flow cytometry provides an effective basis for evaluating the immune condition of tumor patients. There were significant differ-ences of lymphocyte subsets in different age groups with esophageal carcinoma.
