Abstract

Video decoder is a necessary part of video acquisition system,and its function includes A/D conversion of analog video signals such as composite video and Y/C component;extracting image signal;separating synchronous signal and time signal.Co.NXP’ SAA7111 has functions such as A/D conversion and decoding;initial configuration of internal register through I2C bus.It has characteristics including small volume,low cost,simple operation and fewer peripheral equipments,etc;and it is suitable for digital multimedia such as integrated circuit board and handhold terminal.
