Abstract
The effect of different temperature treatments,i.e.15℃,20℃,25℃ and 30℃,on Trifolum repens seed germination and seedling growth was studied.The results showed that 25℃ was the best temperature for the seed germination and seedling growth.When higher or lower than 25℃,it would inhibit the seed germination and seedling growth.When the tem-perature was 30℃,the speed of germination would be reduced apparently and the germinability of seeds decreased,but there were not significantly difference in germination percentage,seedling height and biomass compared with 25 ℃.When it was at 15℃,the germination percentage,the germinability,the seedling height and biomass decreased significantly,but there were not significant difference in germination at the treatment of 15℃ and 25℃.
