Study on fire fighting water flow requirement for commercial buildings

Abstract

A great amount of water flow is required to extinguish fire in commercial buildings.However,the fire fighting water flow for one time extinguishment which is prescribed in Chinese code can not satisfy the fire fighters' needs.Based on plenty of commercial building fire cases,the influence factors of fire fighting water flow are analyzed and the new calculating method of fire fighting water flow is founded.At last,the arrangement of the fire water supply facilities around commercial buildings is proposed.
