Abstract

The variable nozzle turbocharger (VNT) electronic control system is developed to research it's effects on the automotive engine.To control the pressure in the intake manifold,a digital proportionintegraldifferential control method is applied.The VNT electronic control system is tested on the engine test bench with a sixcylinder engine in steady state.The results prove that the VNT electronic control system can improve the engine performance obviously.
