Abstract
The variable nozzle turbocharger (VNT) electronic control system is developed to research it's effects on the automotive engine.To control the pressure in the intake manifold,a digital proportionintegraldifferential control method is applied.The VNT electronic control system is tested on the engine test bench with a sixcylinder engine in steady state.The results prove that the VNT electronic control system can improve the engine performance obviously.
