Abstract
An TiO2 /bamboo charcoal composite photocatalyst was prepared by solved-dipping method and its physical properties, such as surface area(359. 81 m2 /g),total pore volume (0. 317 2 cm3 /g),and average pore diameter (3. 526 nm),were calculated with BET method in accordance with N2 adsorption isotherm, which were investigated with the surface area and porosimetry analyzer. Meanwhile, the mesopore structural parameters and mesopore diameter distribution curves of the photocatalyst were derived from the Barret-Joyner-Halenda (BJH) model. The results showed that TiO2-loaded bamboo charcoal retained the inherent porous structure of bamboo charcoal, meanwhile, the surface area, porous volume and pore diameter were increased slightly. The photocatalyst had more cumulative volume of pores than bamboo charcoal by 65. 86 % .
