Abstract
Through the theoretical analyzing of perceptual thinking and rational thinking in the appreciation of music, the thesis expounds the characteristic and function of perceptual thinking and rational thinking in the appreciation of music. The article points out that perceptual thinking and rational thinking each plays different role in various music aesthetics. The proper application of the two during the process of appreciating music will result in many aesthetic enjoyment.Profuse aesthetic enjoyment would be attained if we could make use of the two schools of thinkings.
