Abstract

The laboratory population life table of Pseudophacopteron canarium Yang and Li (made up of individuals 6th generation occurring outside) was constructed in Yanshou village, Putian County, from July 18, 2002 to September 30, 2002. The results showed that population trend index (I) was 37.22. The mortality of the 6th generation was 68.07%. r_m (the intrinsic rate of increase) was 0.111, λ ( finite rate increase ) was 1.117, net reproductive rate (R_0) was 41.564, mean generation time (T) was 33.7 days, and DT (double time) was 7 days.
