How to Understand the General Question in the Program of Transformation of Marxist Philosophy——Comment on the Interpretation of Xu Chang-fu to Marx’s Philosophical View

The standpoint which holds that the essence of the development of Marxism is the transformation of knowledge types from philosophy to science (especially a kind of positivist science) is untenable. And the standpoint which insists that the sciences of history and economics founded by Marx are positivist science especially deserves discussion. The general question in the program of transformation of Marxist philosophy consistently is a question of philosophical view, but not a question of epistemology. In its essence, the new science initiated by Marx is a brand-new understanding of a brand-new philosophical style which is totally different from the old philosophy, but absolutely not some kind of “positivist science”.
