Abstract
A design of expendable sea temperature measurement system was introduced.According to the sea temperature measurement environment of restricted battery power and space,a thermistor temperature measurement scheme was presented based on the excellent characteristics such as low power, high performance and multi-peripherals of MSP430.Thermistor signal was excited and sampled with the on-chip voltage reference and ADC.Low power was realized through switching work modes of MSP430.Voltage source proportion measurement was adopted in the system and the sea temperature was obtained with the relationship between resistance value and temperature. The resolution of the system temperature was 0.01 ℃.The test results by grade I standard platinum resistance thermometer showed that measurement errors of this system were within ±0.1 ℃.
