Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical diagnosis and surgery of lumbar disc protrusion with stenosed nerve root canal. Method: Follow up 38 cases from 1999 to 2002, these cases to follow lumbar disc protrusion with stenosed nerve root canal were operated ,and were by nerve root canal exploration, and were relieved the entrapment of the nerve root completely . Result: It was shown that the operative effectiveness in 20 cases were excellent, good in 15 cases, general in 2 cases and poor in 1 case. The effective rate was 92%. Conclusion: To enlarge fenestration under certain condition and relieve the entrapment of the nerve root completely are the key point to successful operation.
