Abstract
The founding and development of American Christian universities in modern China means not only complicated cultural permeation, but also the conformity with China’s society development. New ideas and models of education have been introduced into the conservative Chinese education system, thus speeding up the modernization of China’education. Those Christian universities also played a very important role in China’s movement of studying abroad, the fast development of China higher education, China’s talents cultivation, and China’s female higher education.
