Abstract
Osteocalcin which is a non-collagen protein primarily was specific synthetized and secreted by the osteoblast in bone and teeth,and was regulated by many kinds of vitamin,hormone and cytokine. Osteocalcin sustains bone mineralization and behaves as hormone regulating energy metabolism. Detection of osteocalcin has been widely used to diagnose bone diseases,cancer,endocrine diseases and gynecological diseases. In a diet induced obesity model,pellets delivering of recombinant significantly reduced body weight gain,osteocalcin RIA is the most common technical methods of determination of serum osteocalcin in many kinds. Natural osteocalcin are not readily available and very expensive. osteocalcin can be expressed by E. coli. It is helpful to futher study physiological function,pharmacological action and invent osteocalcin antibodies.
