Abstract

This paper establishes an evaluation system of equipment manufacturing’s development performance from four aspects of economic performance,technology effect,scientific management and energy conservation and environmental protection.It makes an empirical analysis of the comprehensive development performance of 7 industries in Chinese equipment manufacturing from 2003 to 2010.The research results show that the communication equipment industry,computer industry and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry ranks first in China’s equipment manufacturing industry;low concentration,environmental pollution and other issues exist in general equipment manufacturing industry;instrumentation and culture industry,and office machinery manufacturing appear contrary to the general equipment manufacturing industry in performance on the indicators of scientific management,energy saving and environmental protection,and the industry of fabricated metal products is backward as a whole.
