Abstract

Ruan Ji tends to go to extremes and is unconventional and unrestrained in personality,but he is worldly-wise in reality;all his life he is discreet in word and deed,but obstinately pursues the natural caprice;at all times he will not forget to advertise himself,but he never intends to step out of the shadow of the realistic authority.In the article it will try to discuss on the phenomenon of Ruan Ji's from such aspects as his psychological need,contradictions in his nature,and the sensibility and defect of his character.
