Abstract

ObjectiveTo test the validity of The New Psychometric Test Battery Used in the Bristol Memory Disorders Clinic-Revised Chinese (BMDC-NPTB-CR). Methods182 elderlies were test with the BMDC-NPTB-CR and MMSE.ResultsThe coefficients of correlation between the similar subtest of BMDC-NPTB-CR and MMSE were 0.17~0.72(P0.05~P0.001). The significant difference s were found among the dementia patients, questionable dementia and control group in the scores of total and subtest(P0.05~P0.001). ConclusionWith good criterion validity and discriminate validity, BMDC-NPTB-CR is applicable in clinic and research practice for Chinese.
