Abstract

Adopt the method of sample plot couples,we studied the soil volume, total soil porosity and water rate of the 2 groups of Pinus massoniana sample plots in the Longli forest farm of Guizhou province. The results showed that soil volume decreased with the planting generation increasing. The total soil porosity and water rate of soil in the second generation were higher than those of the first generation. These suggested that of successive planting of Pinus massoniana did not cause the physical properties of soil deterioration.
