Abstract
The UN peacekeeping mission area is fraught with dangers that constantly threaten the lives of the peacekeepers.According to the relevant items stipulated in the Memorandum of Understanding between UN and Chinese Government,under the provisions of the UN peacekeeping missions,and in view of the actual circumstances and conditions of the mission area,the Chinese Medical Contingent of the UN Peacekeeping Forces worked out its own security rules and contingency plan,made full use of its defense equipment,strengthened security management and defensive measures to ensure its security and thereby the smooth accomplishment of the peacekeeping mission.
