Abstract

The concept of scapegoat may go hack to the primitive agricultural society and the Bible This paper focuses on the analysis of Dane' s image as a scapegoat in the Thorn Krds with Jung's archetypal criticism. Dane is not only the scapegoat who atoned for his ancestors' and parents' sin but also the scapegoat who was tortured by his own guilty consciousness and unswerving consciousness of sacrifice.
