Abstract

OBJECTIVE:To establish a scientific and rational sampling survey method for prescription evaluation. METHODS: Out- patient prescriptions were collected from Apr. 2008 to Feb. 2009 in order to compare data calculated by stratified proportional sampling and stratified non- proportional sampling(n=200)with data calculated by stratified all sampling(n=10 725). The significantly sample volume was calculated according to utilization ratio of injection as evaluation index. RESULTS CONCLUSIONS: No statistic difference was noted between stratified proportional sampling and stratified all sampling(P0.05). Minimum total probability are used to predict minimum sample volume which is close to overall level. Above method can be used as basic method for sample survey in regular prescription evaluation.
