Abstract
Taking 67 counties and cities of Fujian Province as the study samples, this paper tries to make an analysis on their economic difference using the data of per capital Gross Domestic Product (GDP) . We first discuss the economic absolute disparities between the coastal and the inner districts of the province, and then introduce the method of regional economic location quotient, Kuznetz coefficient and hausdorff index to the study of economic comparative disparities from 1989 to 2003. Furthermore, by decomposing and calculating Kuznetz coefficient, we find out the direct causes that bring about the changes of Fujian Province's regional difference. The trend of economic disparities is discussed at the last part of the paper with Fractal Theory and R/S method.
