Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of anti-cancer bioactive peptide(ACBP) on hepatocarcinoma H22 tumor-bearing mice, and to elucidate the possible mechanisms of inhibition. Methods: Animal model of hepatocarcinoma H22 tumor-bearing mice were established. And the mice were randomly divided into three groups, and were treated with 5-Fu,ACBP,physiological saline by caudal vein injection, respectively. The mice were fed 10 days and were treated every other day. Then the mice were executed, inhibitory rate(IR) and spleen index(SI) were calculated.Cell cycle and apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry. Results: Tumor growth was inhibited by ACBP.The IR was 54.20%.Cell cycle was stopped at the G0/G1 phase and apoptosis was induced by ACBP.Conclusion: ACBP could inhibit DNA synthesis of liver cancer cells and induce apoptosis.
