Abstract

Mazu folk images are diversified in form and imbued with local color.They fall into three categories: plane figures,space models,and unified images.They are characterized by utility,perfection,symbolism,generality,Abstraction,etc.Through historical cultural accumulation,Mazu folk images are typical of the local culture.They are an important part of Mazu culture and the intangible cultural heritage protection and research.
