Intelligent Monitor System of Navigation Lights Based on GSM/GPRS Short Messages

Abstract

The composition of an intelligent monitor system for navigation lights based on GSM/GPRS (Global System for Mobile Communication/General Packet Radio System) short message services is introduced. The available working procedures of the system and methods for controlling GSM/GRPS short messages are given, functional properties of the system are also described. The result of experiment indicates that the system can meet the requirements of navigation light management of river and marine navigation.
