Abstract

Cretaceous is an important period in geologic history evolvement,the formation of petroleum basin in northeast of China and even east of the hole China is almost at that time.The Songliao Basin is a terrestrial sediment basin during Cretaceous,utilizing large number of core observations,the types of rock facies and sedimentary date in Quantou formation,developing systematically studies lithostratigraphy,biostratigraphy,seismic stratigraphy.etc,providing important science evidence in comprehensioning sediment geologic history and the form of extensive source rock in Songliao Basin.
