Abstract

Urban agglomeration is a advanced spatial organization during the industrialization and urbanization process,and is the growth pole of regional economic development and the strategic points to take part in international competition.Starting from defining the basic urban agglomeration theory,the paper studies the status and characteristics of Chinese and foreign Urban Agglomeration development,analyzes the development of Henan Zhongyuan urban agglomeration,and puts forward some key measures to further development of Zhongyuan urban agglomeration.
