Abstract

Soil nailing is a soft and passive support technology that works by improving the soil strength through soil nailing and involved problems in the interaction of soil nails, nails effect, soil arching effect, and load stress path. Due to such complexity, it is often difficult to solve the problems by analysis. FEM analysis provides a solution for the optimal design and safety stability of soil nailing support structure. It helps to ensure the safety of the slide slope through monitoring the deformation in the ditch, inner force testing of soil nail and slope displacement and it helps to contain the displacement.
