Abstract
By learning from and building a dual economic growth model, this paper analyzes the determinants of dual economic growth.Based on the analysis, this paper builds an empirical model to study the determinants of economic growth, using data of Guangxi between 1979 and 2009.The result shows that physical capital and labor are the most important determinants of Guangxi's economic growth;financial development also plays an important role;but the transfer of labor from the agricultural sector to non-agricultural sectors is not conducive to Guangxi's economic development.Guangxi still needs to strengthen its finance sector to support economic growth, develop non-agricultural sectors of the economy and optimize the industrial structure.
