The clinical efficacy of Hialid combined with Esculin and Digitalisglycosides on patients with dry eyes after cataract phacoemulsification operation

Objective To observe the situation and curative effects in dry eyes after phacoemulsification.Methods This prospective randomized trial included 200 patients who underwent phacoemulsification.Tear film breakup time(BUT) and corneal fluorescein staining were performed for all patients.Then they were graded as different dry eye level according to the examinations.100 patients were selected as study group,who were treated by Hialid Eye Drops combined with Digitalisglycosides Eye Drops while the other 100 patients as control group were treated by Hialid Eye Drops only.Results There was a significant difference in patients with Grade 2 or more dry eye level within the two groups(P 0.05).All patients showed significant improvements of clinical symptom before and after treatment(P 0.05),and the study group was better than the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Hialid combined with Esculin and Digitalisglycosides Eye Drops have more clinic effects for treating postoperative dry eyes.
