Abstract
Korean Chinese writer Liu Meng-Yin was greatly influenced by Liu Zong-yuan,a famous Chinese litterateur on the writing style and the theory of essay writing.Therefore,there area lot of similarity among Lee's Preface to the Chief of Hansan County and Liu Zong-yuan's Preface to Xue Cunyi.Both discuss the relationship between the Government and the public to express their own idea of the People;both use the analogy and contrast to make their expressing more distinct.However,in terms of artistic style and significantly different,the former is more detailed,frank,while the later simple and tactful;the former is better on the expressing of feelings and momentum,while the later is slightly advantageous in structure.
