Abstract
Objective To study the role of autoacupuncture in the animal shock model to clarity whether it's effects is same to the traditional acupuncture method.Methods The acute hemorrhagic shock was established by bloodletting. Acupuncture, electroacupuncture and autoacupuncture were applied to rats. Blood pressure, heart rate, breath rate and BIS were recorded.Results Acupuncture, electroacupuncture and autoacupuncture all have good therapeutic efficacy on acute shock and there are not marked difference among them.Conclusion Autoacupuncture can imitate acupuncture and have similar effect with traditional acupuncture, so has feasibility to apply into clinical.
