Abstract
Objective: To investigate the characteristics of craniofacial conformation in skeletal pattern Ⅱ patients in Xinjiang. Method: Fifty lateral radiographs were measured and analysised by the computerized cephalometric radiography system. Results: There were 4 types in sagittal of skeletal pattern Ⅱ adolescents, and 3 types in vertical. The disharmony of sagittal was seen in the type of normal maxilla and recessive mandible most commonly. There were almost 60 percent patients of vertical disharmony in skeletal pattern Ⅱ. Conclusion: Several indexes on cephalometric radiography should be reffered and analysised comprehensively in diagosis and treatment planning.
