Abstract

Overtraining frequently occurs during athletes training excessively, and accompanied by mood/behavior changes, a variety of biochemical and physiological alterations, and performance deteriorates. Hence, physiologists exert themselves to study mechanism resulting in overtraining, and research monitor indictors of overtraining. Nevertheless, current indicators are not available tools for diagnosis of overtraining. It is well established that overtraining is thought to involve an imbalance between training and regeneration; hence setting point of imbalance between training and regeneration is the best indicator. Surprisingly, Hsp72 can act as the better checking index. The paper expounds the relationship between heat shock protein 72 and training by studying the research development of them.
