The Investigation on Homocysteine and High-Sensitive C-reactive Protein in Acute Myocardial Infarction Patients with Diabetes Mellitus

Abstract

Objective:To explore the levels of plasma homocysteine(Hcy) and high-sensitive C-reactive Protein(hs-CRP) in acute myocardial infarction patients with diabetes mellitus and its,clinical significance.Methods:Observing and comparing 3 groups of in patients at the same time.DM Group-30 patients with acute myocardial infarction and diabetes mellitus、Non-DM Group-30 acute myocardial infarction patients without diabetes mellitus are studied and compared with the control group-30 patients with stable angina.All the subjects had been systematically treated and monitored for three months afterwards.The levels of Hcy and hs-CRP of the subjects had been measured and the recurrence rate of angina myocardial infarction and cardiogenic death had been counted.Hcy and hs-CRP levels of patients in different groups was compared and the relationship among the the recurrence patients was analyzed.Result:Hcy and hs-CRP levels of patients in DM group and Non-DM group are higher than that of patients in the control group(P0.01);Hcy and hs-CRP levels of patients in DM group are higher than that of patients in Non-DM group(P0.05);there is a positive correlation between the level of Hcy and the level of hs-CRP of patients in DM group.In follow-up visit,the ratio of recurrence patients in angina,recurrence myocardial infarction and cardiogenic death of patients in DM group and Non-DM group is higher than that of patients in control group.Conclusion:The levels of Hcy and hs-CRP are key indicators in the prognostic evaluation of patients with acute myocardial infarction patients and have a positive correlation with patient's condition.
