Application of Modern Quality Management Methods and Tools in IT Project Quality Management

Abstract

Based on the comparison between IT projects and traditional projects, characteristics of IT project quality management are presented. Applicability of modern quality management methods and tools of TQM in IT Project Quality Management are analyzed. Tool-use cases in IT project quality planning; quality assurance and quality control are presented too. A conclusion is that modern quality management methods and tools are applicable in IT Project Quality Management, which have especial characteristics.
