Abstract
Pollutant contamination of an urban street canyon was investigated by numerical simulation. The urban street canyon was simulated by two buildings parallel to each other and perpendicular to the wind. The influence of the following parameters was studied:the different ratio between the heights of the upstream and downstream buildings in a street canyon with the certain spacing between the canyon.A strong influence of the ratio of buildings heights on the pollutant dispersion in the street canyon was observed, the ratio of buildings heights turned out to be important to the pollutant dispersion of an urban street canyon.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
