Abstract
In this paper, use multi-layer and multi-pass welding process to weld Q235+TP304 stainless composite steel, employ the efficient submerged arc welding process to conduct base welding and shielded metal arc welding process for later multi-layer welding, tensile test、bending test、hardness test、and microstructure observation of the welded joint were conducted. The Result show that stainless Composite steel can be welded by multi-layer and multi-pass welding process, later layer produce heat treatment effect to previous one, thereby,it reduce the cracking tendency of welded joint, there has overheated zone in heat affected zone of base welding bead,so welding heat input must be controlled to reduce the width of overheated zone.During multi-layer welding,if selected welding parameter is not suitable, there will be tissue deterioration in heat affected zone, thus it will affect plasticity、 toughness、 corrosion resistance of welded joint, narrow bead fast welding with smaller current should be used,so heat input can be reduced relatively,it could reduce the time of joint during 450 ℃~850 ℃ sensitization temperature range and then to avoid intercrystalline corrosion that cause of depletion in Cr.In addition, during transition layer welding,it should use small current, largish welding speed, minimize fusion ratio to ensure Austenite structure of welding speed.
