Abstract

A pedestrian bridge in a residence quarter in Huzhou is designed to be a composite arch bridge, with 2 bearing arches and 1 tension arch, asymmetrical as a whole. Hereby introduced is the design of the deck arch and its fastening structure, and some key points in design of the main arch, the structural design of the secondary arch nodes and the lifting point of the diagonal member. The bridge is in good service.
